Ross Park has appeared in our Top 100 Sites Guide on numerous occasions over the years, even winning the regional category a couple of times, so it’s no surprise to see it among our finalists again for 2017.
Every year you praise the high quality of the facilities, and the warmth of the welcome that you’ve received. While you’re here you can enjoy a drink or meal in the bar/restaurant, or have a cup of coffee in the tropical conservatory.
Wildlife is in abundance, thanks to the emphasis on environmental matters: around two-thirds of the park’s 32 acres is made up of nature reserve, attracting all manner of fauna.
Here's what you said when voting for the Top 100 Sites Guide:
“This is the best-managed site that we have ever stayed at. It is extremely dog-friendly, with a fantastic area for them to run around in (more of a park) and a restaurant – serving lovely food – where you can take dogs into the conservatory. Every pitch here is well-maintained.”
“I loved everything! I finally visited this site with my son and daughter-in-law; they have been to Ross Park for more than seven years, and always had great things to say about it. I did not appreciate how good the park was until I saw it for myself, and all I can say is wow! We visited the restaurant and this was also amazing. I will definitely be visiting again and again in future.”
