You’ll ‘discover simple pleasures and free-range holidays’ at Trevella Park in Cornwall: so says the website, and your feedback reflects that, too. This is a popular site located near Newquay; there are miles of sandy beach to explore in the local area, many of them much quieter than you’ll find at the town, which is a real favourite with surfers.

Accommodation is in a touring unit or tent, self-catering caravan and lodge, or glamping-style, ready-pitched tents – the latter are fitted with furniture, and the use of a hot tub is available for 2016! Family-friendly amenities at the park include an outdoor pool, an adventure playground, free Wi-Fi and activities during the school holidays.

Here's what you said when voting for the Top 100 Sites Guide 2016:

“Several years ago, we as a family brought our touring caravan to stay on this site. We did this for several years, enjoying each visit as much as the previous occasion. In subsequent years we no longer used a touring caravan, but preferred to stay in the static caravans. Either way, this site ticked all the boxes for us.”

“What truly stands out about Trevella is its ability to bring families together via carefully planned activities. It’s a treasured place for four generations of my family, and has given us all some unforgettable memories.”
