We say...

Few sites fare as consistently well as the adults-only Bath Chew Valley in our annual Top 100 Sites Guide.

It’s won its regional category many times, and even taken the overall award in the past.

That’s because it’s simply a fantastic place to stay, with the owners making sure that even the smallest detail is taken into consideration.

That’s reflected in the tremendous facilities here: for example, there are luxury solo bathroom suites, a book-lending library, a nice dog-walking area, free ironing facilities, a motorhome service point, spacious and well-manicured pitches, a conservation area and much more.

If you don’t have your own tent you can stay in the site’s beautiful wooden lodge, which was built in 2016.

There’s even a car available to hire if you don’t want to take your motorhome off-site, or you can catch a bus to Bath, Wells and more from a stop very close by.

“A beautifully landscaped site, with well designed, very clean amenities. The combined toilet/shower/basin rooms are lovely and warm and always clean. The staff are very friendly and approachable. We will return!”

“Every member of staff is friendly and helpful. Loved the way we were greeted, given clear information about the site and then our van was towed to our pitch and towed off when we were ready to leave. The information available about the area was easily accessed and clearly laid out, and the well stocked library is a bonus.”

“Quiet, tidy, attractive and very well maintained. The staff are very friendly and helpful, but unobtrusive.”
