A host of upgrades over the past 12 months – including the building of a new fishing lake, and improvements to the washroom floors – have really made a great park even better: each year you tell us how much you love this site.
The 61 pitches at this adults-only park are spacious and well-maintained, the washrooms are spotless and have underfloor heating, a laundry room offers washing-up facilities, and there’s a fantastic clubhouse where you can buy food, including breakfast.
The site takes its name from the eight coarse-fishing lakes here (seven are open to those staying on the touring pitches), and you can even take angling lessons if you need a little instruction. Those who don’t have a tourer or tent can choose to stay in one of the 12 luxury lodges at Eye Kettleby, or one of the comfortable wooden glamping pods.
Here's what you said when voting for the Top 100 Sites Guide:
“We have stayed numerous times in our caravan ever since it opened. We cannot fault the site. There’s good entertainment in the clubhouse on certain nights, too. It is also nice to be able to go for breakfast or lunch if you don’t feel like cooking… the meals are good. Our only moan? Everyone else who visits love it, too, so it is often fully booked! They really have got it right here.”
“The site is super and quiet: superb clubhouse, great Sunday lunches, breakfasts and afternoon teas, and the personal washrooms are out of this world. The seven fishing lakes impress the anglers. The new pods and log cabins are the best I’ve seen for people that don’t have tourers.”
