  • Touring pitches: 700

The number of fully serviced pitches at Hendra has increased over the past 12 months; it’s a huge place, and there are now an incredible 700 pitches for tourers.

As you’d expect, the level and standard of facilities is also high at this all-singing, all-dancing park: there’s a huge choice of places to eat, indoor amusements, an outdoor gym, swimming pools, a shop where you can hire towels, bikes and the like, a supermarket, a launderette and much more. The younger members of the family will love the facilities dedicated to them, too, which include a scooter park, a new-for-2017 soft-play area, activity and entertainment sessions and various playgrounds.

If you fancy exploring further afield, you’ll find a bus stop directly outside the park gates.

Here's what you said when voting for the Top 100 Sites Guide:

“It’s fantastic. Love the entertainment programme and the facilities for the family.”

“My husband, 19-year-old daughter and I intended to just use the site as a base for sightseeing, but the caravan was such a fantastic standard that it was like a home from home. We came back in the afternoons just to relax – it was spotlessly clean and so comfortable: just brilliant. We also used the on-site facilities such as the shop, takeaway and bar for a late drink. We will be here again in 2017 without a doubt.”
