There’s a wide range of pitches at Stonehenge Campsite; motorhomes are particularly well catered for, with one dedicated pitch for large vehicles, and even small hardstandings for VW camper vans.
A selection of interesting glamping options – including a ‘moon pod’ and shepherd’s hut – are also available.
Facilities include a pair of heated, tidy washrooms, a campers’ kitchen, a recycling area and Wi-Fi access (for a fee). Campfires are also allowed at the site.
There are numerous attractions within easy reach, including the historic city of Salisbury; you can catch the bus to the latter from right outside the gate. A couple of pubs and a farm shop are a 10-minute walk away.
“Toilet facilities are kept very clean and sparkling, and the grass and hedges are absolutely immaculate. The staff are always happy and helpful.”
“This site is perfect! I was really impressed with everything – including all the little details, such as the soap and so on in the toilets, as well as the washing and kitchen area. Everywhere you looked was clean. The site managers were fantastic, too – such lovely people.”
“I loved everything about this place: the space, the people and the facilities. All in all it was an amazing experience.”
