THIS ESSEX FIRM is best known for compact van conversions, but for a few seasons now, it has also been producing the Dashaway, an innovative tourer that has a raising roof and a slide-out, the Podrant, providing a double bed, kitchen and seating on-site. Yet with a MiRO of just 720kg, it is light enough to be towed by a Ford Fiesta. And when it is all put back and ready to move, you should also find it is narrow enough for you not to need towing mirrors.
