This popular site, set in nine acres on the dramatic Lizard peninsula, offers a choice of luxury lodges, static caravans, touring and camping pitches, all in mature parkland.
It’s a regular in our Top 100 and was Regional Winner in 2020. Given its dramatic and beautiful setting in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, we can see why it has taken top spot again.
It’s a short 1km woodland walk through Gwendreath Valley, in the Lizard Nature Reserve, to the gorgeous beaches of Kennack Sands. You’ll also find Kynance Cove, Lizard Point and Helford River within easy reach.
Facilities include a shop, shower block, launderette, play and barbecue areas, and an information hut. Small campfires are allowed on touring and camping pitches. Touring pitches have hook-up and a water connection.
Silver Sands is proud of its green credentials, having gained a David Bellamy Gold Award in recognition of the park’s commitment to the preservation of the natural environment. In 2016, it also received a special badge for Wildflower Habitat.

- A hidden gem. This site is immaculately maintained. Nothing is too much trouble. It’s the most peaceful and prettiest setting I have ever stayed in.
- The most beautiful, friendly, well-kept site. Lovely clean toilets/showers. We have been coming back for years, our kids have grown up here, a magical place.
