Located close to a pretty beach, Hillhead Caravan Club Site – which is open to members and non-members alike, including those with a tent – makes a great base for exploring the delights of the surrounding area. A large number of pitches benefit from glorious sea views, too.
As you’d expect from a Caravan Club site, the facilities here are excellent. They include a swimming pool, a bar, a drive-over motorhome service point, games and recreation fields for youngsters to play on, a dog-walking area, Wi-Fi (for a charge) and a restaurant.
A late-night arrivals area is a handy addition if you turn up too late to pitch on the main site, and evening entertainment and themed activities during the main season will help keep all members of your party happy.
Here’s what you said when voting for the Top 100 Sites Guide:
“Dog-friendly and grandaughter-friendly! The restaurant and shop are both good value. Even when full and packed out during school holidays, it doesn’t feel overcrowded.”
“We loved the facilities, the location, the entertainment, the pool, the bar, the food on offer – in fact, we loved everything about this site!”
“It was the facilities, the cleanliness, the friendliness of the staff and the size of the pitches that impressed us most – just about everything!”
