Dometic has launched an upgrade of its popular Mini Heki rooflight called the Air Quad. The upgrade involves a new inner lining to the dome which is cruciform in shape, so that no matter how the dome is opened, the air is deflected down into the caravan.

Importantly too, the Air Quad is exactly the same size as the original Mini Heki – 400mm x 400mm – so it can be a direct replacement. The only adjustment required is that the 12 tubes on the inner frame into which the securing screws go have to be cut to length to suit the thickness of the roof.

Whether fitting new or as a replacement, it isn’t necessary to fit framing timber around the opening as the inner and outer frames clamp together as a solid unit. The cost of the Air Quad is £97.12.
