Top Gear famously tested a Toyota Hilux to near destruction a few years ago, but now a Ford F150 has been put through a similar trial — albeit by accident.

When fire destroyed the Kelleher Ford Dauphin car dealership in Manitoba, US, at the beginning of September, firefighters were eventually able to contain the blaze — but only by demolishing the building to prevent the fee from spreading to neighbouring buildings.

Firefighters remained at the scene for 21 hours to make sure that the fire was extinguished, then they surveyed the wreckage...

Amongst the rubble lay the remains of the aforementioned Ford F150 — here’s a video to show what happened next:
