Prime Day initially launched in 2015 to celebrate Amazon’s 20th anniversary, and since then, has become one of the biggest events of the year for lovers of a bargain. For caravanners who love a bargain, the initial signs are promising for this year’s event, with deals to be had on a wide range of products from big names such as Black+Decker, Maypole, TomTom, Anker, EcoFlow and Vango.
We’ll also be keeping our eyes peeled for any more savings that come up during the two-day event, so be sure to check back for the latest deals we’ve spotted.
The event is primarily targeted at those who have a Prime membership, with some of the best deals only available to those with an active subscription. If you don’t, you can sign up to a free 30-day Prime trial, which can be cancelled at any time within the 30-day period, but will still let you enjoy the Prime Day deals. Alternatively, membership costs £8.99 a month or £95 for a 12-month subscription.

Prime Day portable power station deals for caravanners
Jackery Explorer 300 Plus was £319 now £223.30
One of our favourite deals yesterday was for the Jackery Explorer 100 Plus – that may have now sold out, but we’re still big fans of the 300 Plus – and the big saving that can currently be enjoyed on it. It has an output of 300W and a capacity of 288wh and is fairly compact, with dimensions of 23 x 15.5 x 16.7cm. There’s a good selection of ports too, including an AC port, a USB-A output, two USB-C outputs and a car port. That handle will make its 3.75kg weight easy to move around too. A 30% discount brings it down to only £223.30 in the Prime Day sale.
Ecoflow River 2 Max + 160W Solar Panel was £638, now £498
Available with a huge £140 discount this Prime Day, this Ecoflow set comes with a 512wh River 2 Max and a 160w solar panel to help you achieve the power you need when you’re on tour. Thanks to its LFP battery technology, the River 2 Max offers over 3000 charging cycles, and can power up to nine devices simultaneously. Anker 521 Portable Power Station was £189.00 now £149
This entry-level power station is ideal for the caravanner who wants a little extra power when they’re on tour. Currently available with a 21% saving, the lightweight (it’s only 3.7kg) gadget offers an impressive range of ports, including 2 USB-As, an AC socket, a USB-C and a car outlet. Battery levels are clearly displayed, while its capacity of 256Wh should make it ideal for keeping smaller gadgets topped up.

TomTom Go Camper Max 2nd gen was £299, now £254.99
This TomTom sat nav is currently available with a 15% saving, bringing it down to £254.99 over Prime Day. It’s packed full of features for hassle-free touring, from providing specific routing for your tourer to allowing you to avoid low-emission zones, thanks to its ‘avoid LEZ’ feature. Information is all displayed on a seven-inch screen, while it comes with a free one year subscription to TomTom’s speed camera alert system.

BLACK+DECKER Cordless Auto Hand Vacuum – was £49.99, now £36.99
We’ve all had it when we’re on tour and dirt gets trodden in or crumbs spilt. A 12V vacuum gives you a quick and convenient method for quickly tidying your tourer, before giving it a more thorough clean when you’re tour is at an end. We think this Black+Decker perfectly ticks that box – and it’s currently available with a 26% saving. It has a light weight of only 1.49kg, a 1.5m long hose and a dust bowl which is straightforward to empty. It’s not cordless, but a hose of 5m should ensure you can get the whole of your tourer back to its best. Handily, a storage bag is also provided, so you can keep everything in a locker til you need to use it.

It’s helpfully 12V powered and comes with an automatic shut off too. As if that wasn’t enough, it’s available for only £22.89 in the Prime Day sale, bringing the price down by 15%.
Vango Sizzle Induction Hob was £70, now £51.49
Coming in with a power rating of only 800W, this induction hob from Vango can reach a max temperature of 200 degrees and, at only 1.42kg is exceptionally portable. With dimensions of 23 x 19 x 6cm, it’s a compact option for vans with limited hobs, although it is only suitable for stainless steel pans. We like the inclusion of the integrated cooling fan – the helps to prevent the danger of overheating. It’s currently reduced to only £51.49 in the Prime Day sale too, a 26% saving.
CTEK MXS 7.0 Fully Automatic Battery Charger was £149.99, now £93.39
This 12V battery charger works with a wide range of lead-acid batteries, providing fast recharging. We’re big fans of the 50% discount on this COSORI air fryer, which is currently available for only £49.99. Providing a capacity of 4.7 litres, it will be ideal for up to four of you, with its nine settings offering useful versatility for rustling up an ontour feast. It can reach up to 230 degrees, has a wattage of 1500W and has a display where information is clearly shown.
Renogy 500A Battery Monitor, was £84.99, now £44.99
Investing in a battery monitor can be an important buy for checking the health of your leisure battery when you’re pitched up. This Renogy monitor is ideal for doing just that, ensuring you don’t get plunged into darkness. It clearly displays information about the battery on its backlit LCD display, and is available with a huge 47% discount in the Prime Day sale.
Proster Pinless Moisture Meter was £31.99 now £25
Having a professional damp check carried out yearly is crucial, but it’s worth having a gadget that allows you to check the moisture levels of your van all year – that’s where this pinless moisture meter can help. The manufacturer says it can detect moisture to a depth of 19mm, at which point a sound alert and lights will warn you. It relies on a 9V battery to work and won’t leave marks in your wall either.

Chilly’s Water Bottle was £24 now £20

Once you’ve pitched up, sitting back and enjoying the campsite setting is one of the joys of touring. That’s where a good camping chair, such as this Vango option, comes into its own. Capable of bearing up to 180kg, it has a padded seat and backrest to ensure you can sit back and relax in comfort. It’s made with 600D polyester and currently, is available with a 15% discount, bringing it down to only £73.09.
Colapz Caravan Waste Pipes was £54.99, now £46.74
This useful set of eight pipes can be used to create up to 8m of grey waste pipe. Each of the 50cm pipes can extend to a metre and are straightforward to connect together, letting you create the length of pipe you need, when you need it. If you’re on the hunt for a cover that will protect the top of your tourer, Maypole has you covered. Available in a wide range of sizes, stretching from 5-5.6m through to 6.8-7.4m (the smaller sizes aren’t in the sale) this top cover should ensure your tourer is protected from damaging external factors such as UV rays, the elements, bird droppings, tree sap and more. It should allow for the natural evaporation of rainfall and condensation that could occur, helping to keep your tourer looking its best. It’s also fairly lightweight, only coming in at 3.14kg, and provides 1500mm of hydrostatic water resistance.
