Since launching in 2015 to celebrate Amazon’s 20th anniversary, Prime Day has become an unmissable event on the calendar for those who love a discount. To help you get the most from the sale, I’m sharing the offers that I think are actually worth knowing about.
To access these Prime Day deals, you will need to have an active Amazon Prime subscription – however, if you don’t, you can sign up to a free 30-day Prime trial, which can be cancelled at any time within the 30-day period, but will still let you enjoy the Prime Day deals. Alternatively, membership costs £8.99 a month or £95 for a 12-month subscription.

Jackery Explorer 1000 v2 was £419 now £379 (save 10%)
This Jackery is one of our favourite portable power stations, providing a capacity of 1070Wh and a good range of outputs (a USB-A, two USB-C, one DC, and two Pure Sine Wave AC sockets). A sturdy handle will make its 10.8kg weight a bit easier to move around, and for those who want to be able to recharge it easily off-grid, you can also consider buying it with a 100W solar panel for £521 (a 22% saving). The Jackery also has an output of 1500W and a surge peak of 3000W.
Bluetti EB3A was £239 now £179 (save 25%)
If you don’t have much payload to play around with, the 4.6kg Bluetti EB3A could be worth a look. It provides a capacity of 268.8Wh and will be very easy to move around, thanks to its handle. There are a good selection of ports, including a USB-C and one AC/600W socket, and it also features a wireless charging pad. Our tester found it could keep four iPhones and a laptop charged up when used off-grid.

TomTom Go Camper Max was £299 now £254 (save 15%)
For those of you after a new sat nav for your tourer and tow car, this TomTom could be a tempting proposition. It’s packed with features that are sure to give you a stress-free experience when you’re towing your van, including custom routing, Low Emission Zone warnings and preloaded POIs. It has been cheaper during previous sales, when the price has dropped to £234.99, but if you’re in need of a sat nav for an upcoming tour, it’s still well worth a look.
Jackery Explorer 100 Plus was £139.99 now £67
If you’re looking for a lightweight and portable charging solution on tour, this Jackery could come in very handy. Fitting in the palm of a hand, it provides a maximum output of 128W. We like how fast it can be recharged, as it can be plugged into the mains and reach 70% within an hour. It’s currently available for only £75.05, a 52% saving in the Prime Day sale.
Renogy 500A Battery Monitor was £59.99 now £49.99 (save 17%)
This handy gadget helps you maintain your battery. It works with a variety of types, including lithium-ion and lead acid, and displays information on its easy-to-read LCD display. Measuring currents of up to 500 amps, it allows caravanners to check the voltage, the current, the consumer power, and the capacity of the battery, all in real time.

Helinox Chair One was £89.95 now £69.95 (save 22%)
At only 0.89kg, this Helinox chair is an incredibly portable and payload-friendly camping chair to take on tour. When not in use, it folds down to fit into a carry case, which Helinox describes as weighing “less than a bottle of wine”, even though the chair itself can take a weight of up to 145kg. It’s made with a 600-weave rip-stop polyester and is also UV-resistant to give you what should prove to be a robust chair. A 22% saving brings it down to only £69.95.
Summer Padded Camping Chairs was £49.99 now £42.49 (save 15%)
Heavier than the Helinox, but still only coming to 6.6kg for the pair, these padded camping chairs should provide plenty of comfort for a touring experience. This is thanks to their high-density foam-filled seat and backrest, while they both feature a cup holder in the arm for a cold drink to go.
Warmco Portable Handheld Fan 5000mAh was £29.98 now £23.71 (save 21%)
This portable fan will come in very handy when you’re out and about. It has a 5000mAh battery, which should give you between six and 18 hours of use, and we like how you get the flexibility to set it between 1 and 100 to get the right speed to suit the situation. Store it in your pocket or use the lanyard it comes with to wear it around your neck.
Portable camping table was £19.99 now £15.99 (save 20%)
You’ve sorted the camping chairs, now you need a portable table – and this one has caught our eye in the Prime Day sale. It only weighs 850g, yet has a 40x35cm tabletop, so it offers a lightweight place to store your drinks while you relax on your pitch.

For caravanners who want a fairly lightweight (2.84kg) cooking option, this Campingaz could tick the box. We like how its Piezo ignition means it will be easy to ignite, and as it has an aluminium plate, it will give you a consistent heat distribution too.
Daewoo 2L Compact Manuał Air Fryer was £34.99 now £23.99 (save 31%)
This compact air fryer could be a good choice for caravanners who are short on space and payload in their tourers. It has a two-litre capacity, so it would be best suited to couples or solo tourers. The manual air fryer provides a timer of up to 30 minutes and can be used to reach temperatures of 80-200 °C.

This is one that Practical Caravan’s editor, Sarah, owns. Ideal for caravans without a draining board and in need of space-saving accessories, it can take crockery and pans, while it even comes with special slots for cutlery. There are plenty of drainage holes provided too – then, when you’re done, simply fold it away to store until you next need it.
Locker cargo net was £9.99 now £8.07 (save 19%)
We all know that heavy items should never go in ceiling lockers, but lighter items can still fall out when you’re towing your van. That’s why we like the look of this locker cargo net. It looks simple to use, just requiring being fitted to both sides of the locker’s interior, and then tightening the elastic, to give you the peace of mind that what you’re storing will stay in place.
Mesh Shower Bag was £9.99 now £5.94
Make sure you know where all of your toiletries are when you pitch up with this useful mesh bag. Thanks to its breathable material, it will help products to dry out, and we like how you can pick from a number of colours too. We also like how it can be easily hung from a hook, keeping all of your toiletries together in one place, whether you’re using your chosen site’s facilities or prefer to use your caravan’s washroom.
Nine piece cooking utensil set was £23.99 now £13.43 (save 44%)
If you’re in need of some new cooking utensils, this set could come in very handy. It gives you the staples you could need for cooking (a knife, tongs, scissors, a spatula, a peeler, a cutting board, a spoon and cleaning cloths), and a neat waterproof carry case to keep them in, so you will know where everything is.
