Amazon’s Prime Day events – which this time around is actually running for four days, from 8-11 July – are always favourites of mine – I can never resist a bargain, and there are always plenty to be had. It’s not all about high-end gadgets or technology, either: there are plenty of smaller bits and pieces that are well worth considering.

That’s particularly true for caravanners: each event sees numerous leisure vehicle-related products on offer, with many of them coming in at a bargain price – often less than £10.

With that in mind, I’ve trawled through Amazon’s Prime Day bargains to find those deals that I think caravanners will love – and best of all, each product costs under a tenner. Read on to grab a bargain for yourself! Don’t miss my round-up of the products I reckon every caravanner will want to consider this Prime Day too.

AA Headlight Beam Converters
Image: Amazon

AA Headlight Beam Converters was £5.45 now £3.53

Having headlight beam converters is a legal requirement in most European countries, and if you wait to buy them at the port then you can end up spending a lot more than you would if you stock up in advance. I’ve bought these exact converters in the past and have found them really good quality and straightforward to apply – the instructions supplied are clear, and, once applied, they remained in position for a long time. They’re available for a good price during the Amazon Prime event, so it makes sense to grab a set now and keep them for when you need them.

Maypole Hook-Up Lead with 3-Pin UK Plug
Image: Amazon

Maypole Hook-Up Lead with 3-Pin UK Plug was £10.19 now £6.06

I enjoy caravanning off-grid, and for those who do, you will know it means your caravan’s leisure battery needs to be fully topped up before heading off – a good way to do that is to plug it into a domestic electric supply. This, then, is what you need: it allows you to convert the end of your hook-up lead to a mains plug, which can then be used in a home socket. You can get even cheaper versions than this, but Maypole is a well-known name in camping accessories, and this still seems to be a good price. This extension is just 26cm in length, so you’ll need to make sure your regular hook-up lead is long enough.

Teskyer Electronics Accessories Organiser Bag
Image: Amazon

Teskyer Electronics Accessories Organiser Bag was £10.99 now £8.48

As our reliance on electric gadgets grows ever stronger, you’ve probably found – as I have – that you end up carrying numerous cables, chargers and plugs when you go away on a caravan tour. It’s easy for them to become jumbled or lost, so I think that a dedicated storage solution is a great idea.

This zip-up organiser caught my eye when I was browsing Prime Day bargains – it has a waterproof exterior and looks to be a good size, yet compact enough to stash in a locker. Inside it you’ll find pockets of varying sizes, with space to store headphones, small portable power packs, earbuds and more. Various colours are available, too.

HiiPeak Microfibre Towel
Image: Amazon

HiiPeak Microfibre Towel was £10.99 now £9.34

Traditional towels can be bulky, weigh a fair amount and take ages to dry out after you’ve used them – none of which are features that are desirable when you’re away in your caravan. But microfibre towels make a great alternative: they’re much lighter and will dry noticeably faster, too.

Various types are available online, but you do need to take care that you don’t buy one that’s too small – it’s easy to do so. But this one, which I’ve spotted on offer during this Prime Day event, measures a decent 100x50cm; various colours are available, and all feature a handy hanging hook.

Houkary Heavy Duty Cable Storage Bag
Image: Amazon

Houkary Heavy Duty Cable Storage Bag was £10.99 now £9.22

A mains hook-up lead storage bag is one of those items that you won’t realise how useful it is until you try one – and I’m definitely a convert. Measuring 40cm in diameter, this bag looks as though it would make a good buy this Prime Day event.

As well as being a decent size, it’s made from 1680D Oxford cloth with a waterproof coating, to help protect both the cable inside and your caravan’s interior from water damage. The double zip closure should make it easy to get your cable in and out, while there’s a carry handle for extra convenience. Reinforced seams at the bottom should also help with longevity.

Blukar Rechargeable Head Torch
Image: Amazon

Blukar Rechargeable Head Torch was £12.99 now £8.99

Every caravanner needs a good torch – they’re incredibly useful during all manner of situations, whether it’s trying to find something in the depths of a dark garage or changing a gas bottle in the middle of the night. A head torch is the most useful kind, allowing you to keep your hands free to get on with the task at hand.

Featuring a 1200mAh battery, the LED Blukar head torch can be recharged via USB, so you should always have power wherever you tour. It features six lighting modes, and you don’t even need to touch it to turn the light on – simply wave your hand in front of it.

Beldray Collapsible Dish Drainer
Image: Amazon

Beldray Collapsible Dish Drainer was £11.99 now £7.99

Ok, I’ll admit I included this in the editor’s pick article that I did too, but as an owner of one, I can vouch for just how useful it is to have in a caravan which doesn’t have a built-in work surface. Currently available for only £7.99, it comes with slots for cutlery and can be relied upon to keep everything held in place, including plates and pans. I think it’s great quality considering its price, and it comes with drainage holes in the bottom too. Usefully, as it’s collapsible, you will find it’s easy to store when you’ve finished using it too.

DV Lifestyle Mesh Shower Bag
Image: Amazon

DV Lifestyle Mesh Shower Bag was £8.99 now £5.78

I’m a recent convert to taking a hanging washbag away on tour – it’s particularly useful if you don’t have a huge amount of storage space in the washroom, where a toiletries bag that can be hung from a hook can prove incredibly useful. If I hadn’t already got one, I’d buy one of these: it’s made of mesh so water can drain away, and it has a zip to prevent your toiletries from falling out. It’s not huge, at 25 x 26cm, but it should comfortably fit a handful of items – perfect for taking to the onsite showers. A separate pocket allows you to store smaller items, too.

Silicone Rubber Spatula Set
Image: Amazon

Silicone Rubber Spatula Set was £6.99 now £5.94

Silicone cookware is perfect for caravanning – not only is it durable and heat resistant, it’s also light in weight, helping you to save your payload for other bits of kit. I really like this six-piece set, which should keep even the most keen campervan cook happy on the road – as well as the variety of spatulas in different sizes and shapes, there’s even a handy pastry brush, too. The items are heat resistant to 230C, have textured handles for better grip, and can be washed in the dishwasher when you get back home. I really like the cheerful colour scheme, too.

UniBond Aero 360 Moisture Absorber
Image: Amazon

UniBond Aero 360 Moisture Absorber was £12 now £7.89

This one isn’t actually a Prime Day exclusive offer, but it’s such a good deal that it felt worth bringing to your attention. You can currently get an excellent 34% saving on the moisture absorber, which will help to absorb any excess moisture in your tourer, as well as combat any associated bad smells. Instead of requiring electricity, it relies on tabs to operate, with each refill lasting for up to three months. It will just do its work in the background, without making a noise, and is currently available for only £7.89.
