The demand for the Caravan, Camping & Motorhome Show is high, as the organisers, NCC Events, confirmed more than 26,000 advance tickets have been sold.

There is clearly a lot of interest in the event, which runs 22nd-27th February, with ticket sales ten times higher than the figure seen at this point in previous years.

Spread across five halls at Birmingham’s NEC, the show gives visitors the chance to see the latest tourers from the best caravan manufacturers, including Adria, Bailey and Elddis, as well as must-have accessories.

There will be plenty for visitors to the show to enjoy, including a custom built indoor pool, from which they will be able to try paddleboarding and kayaking.

John Lally, CEO of NCC Events said: “The strong ticket sales are a clear indication of pent-up demand – we know that not only are there a lot of new buyers coming into the industry, but many of the core market of caravanners have held off upgrading their outfits.”

“Interest in leisure vehicles is such that Channel 5 have chosen to focus on the Caravan, Camping & Motorhome Show, as part of their new year programming, with filming taking place during the show and aired “live” during the event to an anticipated 1.5 million viewers.  Its great publicity for our exhibitors – interest in the industry has never been so high!

“This will be the first major leisure vehicle exhibition in the UK for two years and we know that many will have missed the opportunity to step inside the latest models, compare the different layouts and specifications and talk face-to-face with others who share their love of the touring lifestyle.

“We are delighted that so many manufacturers across product categories are using the show as a platform to launch new models and utilising the event to present their brand to an audience that has boomed with many newcomers.

“There will be an excellent range of well-equipped holiday homes, lodges and tents on offer too. There really is no better place to see what’s on, choose a perfect vehicle and chat to a friendly face who can reassure, offer advice and demonstrate features on their chosen products.”
