VENTURE CARAVANS recently concluded its 40th anniversary celebrations.

The Daventry-based dealership celebrated the milestone by planting one tree for each year it has been in business, on its original site in Watford Gap.

[tl:gallery size=260×173]The final tree was planted last week, and a crowd of caravanners turned out to join staff and celebrate with a glass of bubbly (pictured, above). The picture on the right shows all 40 trees planted for the anniversary.

It was also a great opportunity to have a look around the newly expanded accessories shop, and take advantage of offers and promotions on the forecourt and in-store. The celebrations concluded yesterday (9 October).

Venture Caravans, formerly Broad Lane Caravans (Daventry), was founded by brothers Jack and Colin Brown 40 years ago. The company is now in the hands of Jack, his son Dave and business partner Mark Turley.

Motorhome & Caravan Show 2011 visitors will be able to catch the Venture head honchos in person at the NEC this week. Dave will be on the Bailey stand (19-29), and Mark will be on the Adria stand (20-77). Congratulations to all at Venture Caravans, from the Practical Caravan team.
