Here’s our top three!

It will come as no surprise to learn that our number one site for caravans is also 2018’s overall winner, South Lytchett Manor Caravan and Camping Park.

With 150 touring pitches, Dorset‘s regional winner has first-class facilities including rarities such as a herb garden that guests can use, and you’ve told us that this family-run site goes out of its way to make visitors feel like they, too, are part of the family.

Number two in our list of the best British sites for caravans is Old Brick Kilns Caravan and Camping Park near Fakenham in Norfolk.

It’s another regional winner in our Top 100 Sites Guide 2018, and you’ve told us it is a beautifully landscaped and maintained site, with facilities including washrooms with underfloor heating, a giant chess set and Wi-Fi.

At number three it’s a third regional winner, Whitefield Forest Touring Park on the Isle of Wight.

As its name suggests, pitch your van here and you’ll be able to delight in its woodland setting, and the kids will enjoy the play and bush-craft area nestled between the trees.

The best sites for your perfect pitch

Next on our list is Northern Ireland‘s Rushin House Caravan Park, a regular in our Top 100 Sites Guide, followed by Ross Park Caravan Park which also came top of our packed list of sites in Devon.

Sitting in sixth place is the adults-only Plough Lane Caravan Site in Wiltshire, the open-all-year Eye Kettleby Lakes next and another open-all-year site, the adults-only Bath Chew Valley Caravan Park eighth.

The final two parks in our best for caravans top 10 are Ord House Country Park in Northumberland and Grantown-on-Spey Caravan Park in Scotland‘s Cairngorms National Park.
