A Mink teardrop caravan specifically designed for electric vehicles is making its debut at the October NEC Show.

Like the other Mink models, the Mink-E includes a kitchen at the back, but unlike them, this is powered entirely by electricity, as is internal heating.

This means the teardrop caravan has an MTPLM of just 550kg, making it capable of being towed by even relatively modest electric vehicles.

It has also been designed to take electricity from the storage battery of an electric vehicle like VW’s ID Buzz.

The Icelandic company has given the new model striking royal blue trimmings on the external corners.

The Mink E joins the other models in the range, including the original Mink S, and the Mink X, the new name for the more rugged Mink Highlander. All models are made in Latvia.
