Ballyness Caravan Park in Bushmills, Northern Ireland has been named the Overall Winner of Practical Caravan and Practical Motorhome’s Top 100 Sites Guide 2024.
To determine the UK’s best caravan parks, the readers of both titles have their say, voting for their favourite sites. Our expert team then looks over the results and completes the final 100.
Ballyness Caravan Park not only secured the Overall Winner’s title but was also named the best caravan park in Northern Ireland. Sitting in North Antrim, the picturesque site offers plenty of green space, excellent facilities and a great location, with the Causeway Coast only a 10-minute drive away – alternatively set off on the 15-minute walk to the village of Bushmills. The dog-friendly caravan park is also only an hour’s drive from Belfast.
Other winners included Green Acres Caravan Park, which was the Regional Winner for North-West England for a second consecutive year. The adults-only site offers a peaceful setting and excellent facilities, as well as an ideal location for exploring the North Pennines and the Lake District.
Eye Kettleby Lakes, a regular in our Top 100 Sites Guides and last year’s Overall Winner, was voted the Regional Winner for the Heart of England. Sitting in 150 acres of beautiful countryside, it provides guests with excellent facilities and plenty of angling opportunities, with nine coarse fishing lakes on offer.
Back of Beyond was the Regional Winner in Dorset for a fifth consecutive year too – found in a 30-acre countryside setting, the peaceful adults-only site is well-placed for exploring the nearby New Forest National Park.
Silver Sands Holiday Park retained its Regional Winner title in Cornwall, an accolade it has now won for three consecutive years. Based in the Lizard Peninsula, the charming site provides a peaceful setting for enjoying the many delights of Cornwall.
