Barefoot, the monocoque caravan company, has extended the colours you can have your caravan decked out in by launching a new model in an eye-catching shade of lilac.

The caravan manufacturer is well known for its charming designs. The small caravans have a one-piece monocoque body made by fibreglass experts Watsonian Squire.

Barefoot founder Cathy Chamberlain says the new lilac colour was suggested to them by a solo woman caravanner, called Pam.

Cathy said, “There is something quite adventurous about this colour choice, and it seems that people are really appreciating a bit of cheer while times are difficult and uncertain. Lilac is becoming fashionable again. It is optimistic and cheerful, and reminds people of happy times.”

Barefoot models are available in two styles – the Classic and the Forward. The new lilac colour scheme follows in the footsteps of the baby-pink Forward model which was on display at the October NEC Show.
