Adventure Leisure Vehicles, one of the best-known caravan dealerships in the country with a strong track record in selling more unusual brands, has gone into administration.
Based at Tebay, Adventure Leisure Vehicles had built up a strong reputation for dealing in more niche tourers, particularly teardrop caravans, including T@B and HeroCamper. At one stage, it was also the only UK dealer importing American Airstream caravans, before the baton for that passed briefly to Swift and then to Lowdhams.
Gareth Harris and Christoper Ratten of RMS Restructuring Advisory LLP were appointed administrators of the Cumbrian company last week.
They were not able to say what the current situation may be for anyone with outstanding deposits or warranty work with the company, but anyone who thinks they may be affected should email [email protected] or ring 0113 285 5000.
Adventure Leisure Vehicles is the latest in a long line of dealerships to have gone under in the past few months, with big names like Robinsons and Broad Lane either completely disappearing or being rescued only by a takeover deal.
