Dorset Police managed to retrieve a caravan just three days after it was stolen and return it to its rightful owner.
The caravan had been reported as stolen from an address in Dorchester and was found by officers in the Piddle Valley area after they made “fast time” enquiries, otherwise known as immediate action.
The operation, which could leave caravanners thinking about caravan security, also saw two other stolen vehicles were seized, as police believe they could be linked to caravan thefts across Dorset and Somerset carried out in the past few months.
No arrests have so far been made, but investigations are ongoing.
