Bailey has announced that Ian Rawlings is the company’s new Chief Operations Officer.

Since joining over 20 years ago, Ian has helped the caravan manufacturer grow its Bailey Retailer Network to over 60 caravan retailer outlets and steer the company through both Brexit and the Covid pandemic.

Now, as Chief Operations Officer, Ian will continue as Sales Director, as well as overseeing the Operations and People aspects of the company.

The new role has been created to help the business to meet the requirements of the market and will include “a major drive for new improvements to both people and processes throughout the manufacturing facilities”.

Managing Director Nick Howard will continue overseeing Finance, Product Development, Marketing, PRIMA Leisure and Aftercare.

Nick said: “Ian is an extremely experienced and hugely respected member of our Senior Management Team, and his promotion to the new position of Chief Operations Officer is well deserved.”

The appointment follows the brand’s appearance in our best caravan guide, through the Phoenix GT75 762. It’s not the only new appointment within the industry either, as the Camping and Caravanning Club’s new President, Hamza Yassin, recently carried out his first official duty in the role.
