The summer may be behind us for the time being, but at Practical Caravan, we never stop thinking about caravanning – there’s always a trip to plan or a new project to set in motion. So that’s why I’ve really enjoyed browsing Amazon during its Prime Big Deal Days 2025 event, which is taking place on 7-8 October and is exclusively available to Prime members. There are always lots of great caravan bits to be tempted by during its sales.
Don’t worry if you don’t fancy trawling through everything, though – as editor of Practical Caravan, I’ve spent a lot of time on Amazon over the past 24 hours to identify the best products I’ve found on sale to help you get more from your touring. Read on to find out more, – and potentially save some cash, too!

Adjustable Height Aluminum Step was £38.99 now £33.14
A small set of steps in your caravan is one of those things that you don’t really appreciate until they’re required – it’s so useful to be able to access high spaces, whether it’s the back of a locker or having to stretch up to attach an awning to a rail. Which is why this aluminium set – currently the cheapest it’s been on Amazon – is so tempting.
For starters, they’re height adjustable (from 17-23cm), which makes them super practical for multiple situations. Handily, they also fold down compactly for storage underneath a sofa seat or bed. The rubber feet should mean that they’re less likely to slip when in use, and there’s a non-slip tread on the top, too. They promise to be sturdy, too, with a whopping weight capacity of 300kg.

TruTrak Pro 4G – FMT200 4G GPS Tracker was £9.99 now £4.99
It was the price of this that really caught my attention – the award-winning TruTrak Pro 4G FMT200 4G GPS Tracker is currently retailing at just £4.99, and this is a limited-time deal as well, so you don’t need to be a Prime member to take advantage of it. It comes with 14 days’ free use, then costs from £4.72 per month (depending on the price plan you choose); there’s no contract, and you’ll just pay as you go. International roaming is included, and tracking information is relayed to your smartphone or computer. Reviewers say that it’s easy to install, too.

Anker SOLIX C200 DC Power Bank Station and 60W Solar Panel was £299.99 now £179
I really enjoy touring off-grid, but that means keeping a careful eye on power usage – so I have always found portable power stations to be incredibly useful. I own a Jackery, but I’ve read good things about Anker products, so this looks like a good deal to me – during this Prime Day sale it’s currently the lowest price it’s ever been on Amazon. Despite its compact size, it delivers 200W of power and has five outlet ports, including three USB-Cs and two USB-As. In terms of recharging, you can use mains power (for the fast recharge), but the 60W solar panel is also very useful. What’s more, you can recharge the unit via your vehicle, too.

Chefman Air Fryer was £54.99 now £44.99
Air fryers have taken the world by storm, and they’re very popular in caravans too – particularly if you don’t have an oven. You’ll need a mains power source, but if you have one, they’re a great way to cook in a short amount of time.
This 3.75-litre air fryer is pleasingly compact and relatively low wattage, at 1500W, so I reckon it should be ideal for use on tour. I really like the fact that it has a digital display – I have an analogue-control air fryer and miss the accuracy of digital – and the window at the front allows you to check on your food without needing to remove the basket. It only weighs 4kg, too.

Autoglym Fast Glass was £11.49 now £5.35
It’s really important to keep the windscreen of your tow car clean no matter what the time of year, but particularly during the winter months when dirt, salt and road film all take their toll. You’re likely to have come across Autoglym if you’ve been looking at products for cleaning a caravan. I’ve always really liked the consistent quality and value of their products, which is why I think this Fast Glass product, which is currently on sale during the Prime Day event, is worth a look.
All you need to do is spray a light coating on then clean using a microfibre cloth; the product is suitable for both interior and exterior use. You can also use it on the acrylic windows of your caravan.

5-Piece Space Saving Kitchen Accessories set was £11.99 now £8.99
I first spotted this handy little set of kitchen tools during a Black Friday event a couple of years ago, and was so impressed by the price that I decided to buy one. It’s just perfect for a compact caravan kitchen, because it features a number of useful tools on one ring, including a bottle opener, a peeler, a garlic/ginger grinder, a cheese grater and even a pizza cutter. The slightly more pricey version comes with a folding knife, too. I’ve found my set incredibly useful during trips away, and its compact size means that it doesn’t take up much space in a drawer or locker either.
Domemit Self-adhesive Storage unit was £18.79 now £12.89
This seems like a clever idea to me – it’s a foldable wall-mounted organiser that I think would be ideal for mounting on the wall (or inside a locker door) of your caravan. Measuring 34 x 29 x 14cm, it promises to be really easy to fit: simply peel off the backing of the supplied sticky hooks, attach them to the relevant surface, then hang the organiser. The latter is made of a tear-resistant cloth, so it should prove durable, and the unit simply folds flat when not in use, to help keep it out of the way when you’re moving about your caravan.

Tow Hitch Cover was £13.99 now £11.89
I like the look of this tow hitch cover, which is made from a four-layer waterproof fabric for added protection no matter what the elements might throw at your tourer. It’s a great size, too, at almost a metre long, so is likely to cover the electric lead as well as the hitch head itself.
Reviewers have commented on how easy it is to fit, thanks to its click-close strap for easy adjustment. I also like the fact that it features a reflective and high-visibility finish, meaning that you’re less likely to walk (or drive) into it in the dark!
