A sat nav can be a crucial piece of kit for any caravanner and the approach of Black Friday (24th November) could be the perfect time to get one at a bargain price.

The sales have already started with some retailers, and I’ve found three Black Friday sat nav deals on devices that were shortlisted at the recent Practical Caravan Awards 2024 – it even includes two models from Garmin’s new Camper range.

Garmin Camper 895

Garmin Camper 895 £579.99 now £449.99 (save 22% at Amazon)

One of the best early deals on Black Friday caravan accessories that I’ve spotted so far is for the Garmin Camper 895, currently available on Amazon with a big £130 saving. From custom routing to warnings about approaching sharp bends, Environmental Zones and more, I like how it’s packed full of useful features that should help to take the stress out of your journey to your chosen campsite, with information displayed on its 8-inch screen.

Garmin Camper 795 £389.99 now £349.99 (save £40 at Garmin)

Currently reduced to £349.99 at Garmin, the Camper 795 was our winner of the best caravan sat nav at the recent Practical Caravan Awards 2024. Our judging panel loved the many features it comes with, all clearly shown on a 7-inch screen. Providing suggestions for road trips, warnings of upcoming steep grades and more, plus useful features such as Birdseye Satellite Imagery, it’s sure to help you get the most from your tours. While a £40 saving may not seem as appealing as the £130 discount with the 895, this is a more budget-friendly option and an ideal choice if you’d prefer to have a smaller display in your car.

TomTom Go Camper Max

TomTom Go Camper Max £349.99 now £297 (save £15% at Amazon)

This TomTom device was our standout pick on the market last year and continues to impress, as it made it onto our shortlist at the Practical Caravan Awards this year. Like the Garmin 795, it has a 7-inch display, where the custom routing it offers is clearly displayed. One of my favourite features is Scenic routing – this is ideal if you’d rather enjoy a more peaceful and picturesque journey. There’s also the option of taking a free one year trial of the Live Speed Camera alert setting too.
