If you do have a caravan TV, something else worth investing in is a sound bar. Although it’s great to find a TV that can work on 12V, it does sometimes mean you make compromises on the quality and volume of the sound. This sound bar can resolve that, connecting to your TV via Bluetooth or USB – which means it can also double as a general speaker. For such a small product, the sound is brilliant and it’s both waterproof and dust-proof so you can use it outside without worrying. It’s also rechargeable via USB-C and comes in 8 colours.

Designed for small spaces, this handy little speaker is equipped with the wonderfully helpful digital assistant Alexa and uses a mains plug. Although it’s only suitable for use on hook-up, we thought it was worth including in our favourite gadgets line-up, especially if you’re pitching up in the same place for a few days. Along with playing music, audiobooks and radio, the Echo Pop can tell you weather, create a list, read you the news and more. You can also use it to make calls and answer questions, all without having to move from wherever you’re relaxing.
