Cheshire-based Fishpool Farm Caravan Park has been purchased by family business Ty Gwyn.
The site, which has been renamed Fishpool Holiday Park, sits in five acres by the village of Tarporley. The best caravan sites can offer plenty to do in the surrounding area, and in the case of Fishpool, visitors will be able to explore the nearby Delamere Forest, where walking and cycling can be enjoyed. Chester is also only a few miles away.
The campsite’s new owners are based in North Wales and are planning to invest, with a series of infrastructure works in place, while luxury lodges and caravans are also being added. Initial work includes groundworks, landscaping and drainage. EV charging points are also being added, which will make topping up one of the best electric tow cars easier.
Fishpool Holiday Park is set to reopen at the end of April and is now accepting bookings for touring caravans and motorhomes, as well as its static caravans and lodges. There will also be seasonal caravan pitches available.
Rhodri Owen, a director at Ty Gwyn, said: “We are looking forward to welcoming new holiday makers to Fishpool Holiday Park after the completion of our programme of works which are already well underway.”
“We are also fortunate to be on the doorstep of Delamere Forest, one of the region’s most popular leisure destinations, offering something for all ages.”
