Xplore showcased its XC range of tourers at this week’s Motorhome and Caravan Show (15-20 October).
Held at the NEC in Birmingham, the show is a great opportunity for visitors to see the latest releases, with one such example being the three vans on display at the Xplore stand. The range is targeted at lovers of the great outdoors and comes in a selection of caravan layouts.
The first of the three models is the Xplore XC Duo, a two berth tourer on a single axle with an MTPLM of 1150kg and an OTR price of £24,249. The caravan features a rear kitchen and washroom, and has a front parallel lounge where a front double bed can be made up, which measures 2.01m x 1.55m. The tourer has a shipping length of 5.87m and a width of 2.18m.

Also on display was the XC Lite, a four berth model with an MTPLM of 1090kg. It comes with a rear dinette which can be turned into either a single berth or bunk beds, as well as L-shaped front lounge where another double bed can be made up, which comes to 2.00m x 1.33m.

The XC Lite has an OTR price of £22,749, a shipping length of 5.54m, and a width of 2.18m, as well as a MiRO of 995kg and a payload of 135kg.
The last of the three vans is the XC Quad, the only one in the range to have a permanent bed and is ideal for those who prefer island bed caravans.
This is because it has a retractable transverse island bed, located towards the rear of the tourer, while an additional two berths can be made up in the lounge as two singles or a double bed, depending on requirements. It has an OTR of £25,499, a shipping length of 7.38m, an MTPLM of 1380kg, a MiRO of 1226kg and a payload of 154kg.

Each van in the range provides a head height of 6.5m, and a kitchen spec which includes a Dometic series 10 98L fridge, a dual fuel hob, a microwave and LED downlight. Other features include Grade III Thermal Insulation which should help to make it ideal for touring throughout the year, as well as Whale Heating, which can run on gas or electric.
