Caravans to see at the NEC Show

Adria (Stand 7-35/6-36)

There’s not much change on the caravan front from Adria this season, but buyers should still be able to see a good selection of the Slovenian brand’s models, including the Altea 612 DL Tyne and 622 DK Avon, the Adora 612 DL Seine and 623 DP Tiber, the Alpina 623 UC Mississippi and 623 UC Colorado, and the sporty Action 361 LT.

Bailey (Stand 19-25)

Bailey’s Phoenix+ and 8ft-wide Pegasus Grande ranges get an upgrade this season and are set to be on display.

The new Phoenix and Pegasus Black Edition models come with silver sides and black alloy wheels. Inside, curtains have been replaced by smart textured panels.

There is also the intriguing new way that Bailey came up with to solve the problem of how to squeeze past an island bed. Finding out what you think about that is worth a trip to the stand in itself!

Each range has lost one model with the new look – the six-berth Phoenix 762 has gone, as has the five-berth Pegasus Grande Ancona.

All five remaining models in both ranges will be on display, along with four Unicorns (Seville, Cadiz, Vigo and Cabrera), three Alicanto Grande Deluxe models (Evora, Alvor and Porto) and the Discovery D4-4.

Barefoot (Stand 11-21)

The monocoque manufacturer returns to the show this autumn with its first-ever three-berth. The Barefoot Bothy comes with a 1.76m-long single bed across the back, and like all other Barefoot models, is available in a range of cheerful external colours. It also has a 10-year bodyshell warranty.

With a towing weight as low as 7450kg, the spec still includes a 16-litre fresh- and 23-litre waste-water tank, a 24-litre coolbox, solid oak worktops, a Thetford Porta Potti, a 110Ah leisure battery and Hella lights.

The Bothy costs from £25,500. You’ll also be able to see the Country Living model.

Buccaneer (Stand 20-20)

Erwin Hymer UK’s most upmarket brand is no longer just one range. For the 2026 season, the Buccaneers have been divided into two new line-ups.

Three of the current models – Aruba, Barracuda and Cruiser – are now available in a new Buccaneer Starliner range, each with an increased MTPLM of 2200kg. That should mean more payload, although air conditioning and a bedroom TV are included as extra spec in these models.

A Buccaneer caravan

These three, as well as Bermuda and Commodore, are also available as standard Buccaneer Skyliner caravans, providing an MTPLM of 2000kg. Examples of each tourer should be on the stand.

Coachman (Stand 19-20)

You can expect to see every single model from all four of Coachman’s ranges on the luxury brand’s stand this year.

That includes the new Laser 480 Xtra, the UK’s first-ever 8ft-wide two-berth, as well as two revised VIP models – the 545, again with a ‘Jack and Jill’ entrance to the rear bedroom, and the 565, where the wardrobe has been moved to the end washroom.

Lusso II and III models now also come with a 2200kg MTPLM, giving you more payload. And alongside the new 480, two other Lasers – the single-axle 545 Xtra and the twin-axle 845 Xtra – now have larger shower cabinets with saloon doors.

Elddis (Stand 20-19)

Although there’s been radical renaming at Elddis, the line-up should be familiar – there are no completely new layouts.

Last season’s middle-ranking Affinity range has gone, while the budget-priced Avanté has become Avanté Apex, now with silver sides and a lot more spec, including a full Stargazer rooflight, an Omnivent, an Al-Ko wheel lock, an external mains socket, shower and BBQ point, and Wi-Fi readiness.

That leaves room for Whirlwind, a new, more keenly budget-focused range, similar to Avanté Apex, which includes the Whirlwind 868. The top-notch Crusader line-up has expanded, too, with three new models: the two-berth Shamal and the four-berth Solano and Shamal.

Eriba (Stand 20-35)

You’ll also see that there’s no major change in the Eriba offering for the 2026 season, although the stand should still have much to attract any potential buyers who are looking at small caravans which have style and a pop-top roof that is available in a very eye-catching selection of bright colours.

Knaus (Stand 17-32)

Visit the Knaus stand at the NEC show and you should be able to look around a few models from the brand’s new Black Selection Südwind range.

These come with Al-Ko’s AAA premium brake and an external mains and TV socket, but despite the name, are actually finished in elegant Campovolo grey on the outside.

Swift (Stand 6-39)

Among Swift’s many ranges, Basecamp and Sprite have both undergone a bit of slimming down for the 2026 season.

Basecamp is returning to just the one model, the Basecamp 2, that it started out with, while Sprite has been reduced to four models – the Exclusive range, introduced last year, has gone, as have the 8ft-wide Sprite Grande vans.

A Swift Conqueror

That does mean Swift is able to offer a new Sprite at a price that’s quite a bit lower than last year.

Challenger has also been consolidated, and is now down to just one conventional width range – although you will have no fewer than 10 models to choose from.

The top-notch Elegance line-up, which includes tourers such as the Elegance Grande 845, has also lost one layout. But all of this slimming down means there’s room for the return of the Conqueror, now available again in seven different layouts. You can catch up with all of these on the Swift stand.

Weinsberg (Stand 17-32)

CaraOne, one of the two caravan ranges that Knaus’s budget brand, Weinsberg, sells in the UK, has been given a facelift for the coming season.

You now get smooth white sidewalls and smart alloy wheels on the outside, as well as a mostly grey interior highlighted with eye-catching colour accents.

The designers have also smartened up the vans’ washrooms, which now feature marbled walls for a more domestic look.

Xplore (Stand 20-20)

Erwin Hymer UK’s Xplore range was given a dramatic make-over last season, and with so much going on elsewhere within the company’s ranges for this year, you won’t be surprised to hear that not much has changed for the 2026 offering.

The brand’s three models are all worth, well, exploring. You can take a look at our review of the 2025 season models to get an idea of what to expect: two-berth XC Duo, and four-berth XC Lite and XC Quad.

Awnings and accessories

The NEC Show is also a great opportunity to stock up on awnings and accessories to enhance your touring experience. If you decide to get a new awning, don’t forget to make sure you know how to put up a full poled caravan awning too.

Dometic (Stand 12-42)

The Swedish manufacturer is expanding its Residence Tour Range, which is made with 300D ripstop polyester, from six to 10 models.

It is also introducing Club Air, three models in bright colours with a canopy over all three doors. The Winter Air awning, for those who like to tour in colder climes, now has larger windows, multiple access points and a groundsheet.

Look out, too, for the Stay series of all-season awnings, with a polypropylene roof and polycotton walls.

The new Stuga Rest poled awning is also designed for use on seasonal pitches.

Isabella (Stand 17-34)

Isabella will have three new models from its inflatable-only Ventura at the show.

The Ventura AIR Nova is a full awning that comes in six sizes, while the Ventura AIR Aura is a porch awning in three widths. The Ventura AIR Sol is a sun canopy with optional side panels.

Look out for the Magnum Etna, now in three sizes, and the new Etna colourway for the Ambassador.

Telta (Stand 17-39)

The big news with Telta for 2026 is the launch of a new range of residential awnings in Soltex fabric, which has been specifically developed for awnings likely to be up for nine months.

New front panels on some awnings that no longer have side doors allow you to fold the window back quickly to make a larger opening.

Caravan towing

Whether you’re towing a caravan for the first time or wishing to brush up on your towing skills, there will be the opportunity to benefit from free towing sessions run by the show’s tow car partner, Isuzu.

Instructors welcome drivers of all abilities, whether it’s your first time towing or you’re an avid caravanner. Complete your DVLA check code and book your slot in advance at mcshow.co.uk/free-caravan-towing. A full UK driving licence will be required.

The Inspiration Theatre

Head to the Inspiration Theatre to hear a wide variety of guest speakers sharing their tips, experiences and advice to help you get the most from your tours. It will be hosted by TV presenter, comedian and keen caravanner, Rowland Rivron.

Speakers will include Ben Fogle (12pm on Friday 17th October), Kat Bird – aka Wandering Bird – (who will be talking daily), Lola Culsán, and highlands2hammocks. The full itinerary can be found (with timings available) at: mcshow.co.uk/inspiration-theatre-schedule.

Cooking and advice

There are also going to be Campsite Cooking slots, where TV chef Kwoklyn Wan shares some of his favourite destinations, as well as delicious, one-wok, one-pot dishes (Saturday and Sunday). On Tuesday and Wednesday, Andrew Dickens will be taking to the stage, while Mark Bonito will be doing the same on Thursday and Friday.

Do you have any burning questions? The experts will be able to answer at a Q&A session where industry heavyweights will be able to answer those practical and technical questions you’ve always wanted to know.
