Erwin Hymer UK’s main brand sees radical changes to range names this year, although in most ranges the model tally remains unchanged.
The previously mid-ranking Affinity range has gone, while what was the cheapest range, the Avanté (which featured models such as the Avanté 520), has now been booted upmarket to become Avanté Apex, with prices starting at £27,000 OTR.
This six-model range, which includes the Avante Apex 550, has three 8ft-wide models, just like last year’s Avanté range. But standard spec has been considerably enhanced and now includes diamond silver sides, a full Stargazer rooflight, a caravan solar panel, an Omnivent, an alarm and Tracker system, an Al-Ko wheel lock, heavy duty corner steadies, an offside service light, and an external mains socket, shower, and BBQ point and Wi-fi readiness.
That leaves room for a new range to come in at a lower price, with a layout mirroring the Avante Apex.
The new range is called Whirlwind, a name that should be familiar to most Elddis fans, and includes the Elddis Whirlwind 868 and the Whirlwind 554. The white-sided models start at £23,000 – considerably below last season’s Avante. But for an extra £2000 – or £2200 for twin-axle caravans – you can opt for the Evolve pack.
This will get you an Omivent, Al-Ko wheel lock, solar panel, alarm, wi-fi readiness, and an external mains socket, BBQ point and shower.
The Crusader range has been expanded with three new single-axle, conventional width models: the two-berth, end washroom Hurricane, the four-berth Solano with an inline island bed at the back, and the Shamal, also a four-berth but with fixed single beds at the back.
Together with the two continuing single axle 8ft-wide models – the Aurora and the Mistral (take a look at our review of the 2025 Elddis Crusader Mistral to see what we made of the previous season’s model) – and the three continuing 8ft-wide twin axles – the Borealis, Zephyr and Tempest – that takes the model tally in this range up to eight.
All come with Alde heating, a solar panel, Wi-fi readiness, an Al-Ko wheel lock, a tracker, an offside service light and heavy duty corner steadies, while air conditioning is an option on the twin-axle models.
Prices start at £30,938 OTR.
Elddis is not the only make to be sharing news of its latest releases either, with Bailey recently launching its Black Edition Phoenix and Pegasus ranges, with changes including new layouts in the kitchen and a new way of making extra space around a rear island bed. Coachman has launched the UK’s first 8ft-wide two berth caravan as a part of its 2026 line-up – the Laser 480 Xtra features a spacious end washroom and an L-shaped side kitchen.
