Visitors to London stared at the sky in astonishment last week as Bailey of Bristol winched one of its new Unicorn caravans into the air – pitching it for the night atop One New Change, a shopping centre in the heart of the capital.

The pitch promised the most stunning view in the UK, with the van’s front windows overlooking the iconic dome of St Paul’s Cathedral.

The Unicorn Vigo caravan, which weighs 1430kg, was craned onto the rooftop of the One New Change building in Central London on Sunday, to celebrate the boom in staycations and caravan sales during the COVID pandemic.

Bailey invited caravanners to visit the Unicorn in its temporary position on Wednesday, giving them the opportunity to see the Vigo – one of seven models in the all-new Unicorn Series 5 range – for themselves.

You can find out more about the new Unicorn range by visiting Bailey’s website; you can also watch a time lapse video of the Unicorn being winched into position.
