[tl:gallery size=450×323]Bloggers using the free Blogger service can now updated their blog using an iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad and Android smartphone, thanks to Google’s new Blogger app.
The free app can be used to compose blog posts on the go and publish them immediately, assuming there’s an available internet connection.
Alternatively, posts can be saved as drafts for later publication, while built-in device synchronisation means the app can even resume editing posts that were started on a computer — and vice versa.
The Blogger app can also be used to publish photos to a blog, either from the photo library or taken with the camera.
Blogger for iOS and Android is a free download from the iTunes App Store and Android Market, respectively.
Incidentally, anyone who uses WordPress to publish their blog has long had the option to do so with an iPhone, iPad and Android smartphone, thanks to the WordPress app.
