Exploring Cornwall’s stunning south coast is easy if you choose to make Eden Valley Holiday Park your base.
The ancient town of Lostwithiel and its handsome architecture is close by, while you’ll be able to enjoy great food in Fowey around six miles farther on. There are also plenty of walking and cycling opportunities on atmospheric Bodmin Moor.
There’s no clubhouse at Eden Valley, so you’re assured of a quiet, relaxing stay. Children are sure to enjoy the fantastic adventure playground, which features swings, slides and more, and there’s an indoor games room for when the weather takes a turn. Meanwhile, those holidaying with their dog will appreciate the dedicated paddock where they can walk their pet.
No public transport is available within a mile of the site, but a list of taxis can be supplied.
Here’s what you said when voting for the Top 100 Sites Guide:
“A really friendly welcome by the owners. This site is so lovely and quiet. The toilets and showers were never busy and the showers are free, lovely and hot. Our pitch was in one of the fields, and was perfect for our group because we had a lot of young children and there was no road through it; the play park was amazing. The site is in a great position to allow you to go on day trips all over the county.”
