At the Dusseldorf Caravan Salon show, the Sealander amphibious caravan was creating waves. In fact, we talked about it a while ago. Interesting idea, but we're not sure it'll catch on. These two films from Pathe News dated 1955 and 1967 suggest that having a caravan that can survive taking a dip is nothing new.

These two films from Pathe News dated 1955 and 1967 suggest that having a caravan that can survive taking a dip is nothing new.

In fact, have a poke around around any dealer forecourt and you’ll see plenty of tourers which are a bit soggy, although that’s nothing to do with them going swimming…
