Coachman has overhauled its Acadia range for the 2027 season, and made significant changes to VIP models, while minor changes occur elsewhere.
The company, which is 40 years old this year and is known for producing some of the best caravans, is retaining the Acadia range as four models, although the only model to have come through intact from last season is the five-berth 660 Xtra.
The two-berth 460 has been dropped, the 545 and 575 have both been widened to become Xtra models (with the 545 switching from inline to transverse island bed), and there’s the new 655 Xtra – with an L-shaped front lounge and a transverse island bed at the back behind a central washroom.

Within the range as a whole, the biggest changes are new flat locker doors. They come with black handles, as do all drawers. There’s a new marble design on the kitchen worktop extension and kitchen and washroom splashbacks, a new round stainless steel sink in the kitchen and a top mounted basin in the washroom.

Matt black spotlights come with USB ports too. New 3D exterior graphics, a new one-piece door and new matt grey alloy wheels complete the picture.
In contrast, the VIP range continues with the same five models this season, although there are significant changes to them.

As with Acadia, there are new exterior graphics, new grey alloy wheels and a new one-piece door. Inside there’s also a new Primavera wood colour scheme, new soft furnishings and new locker doors with black handles, while an acoustic style media wallboard has been added in the living area.

Kitchens now come with an extractor fan and a cocktail cabinet, while there are more black accents in the washroom including a black ladder radiator.
Only one model – the two-berth Laser 480 Xtra – has been dropped from the Laser range this season. These 8ft-wide models get new exterior looks and soft furnishings, as well as the wallboard featured in the VIP models. There are also more black accents including a black kitchen sink tap and a black ladder radiator in the washroom.

The most luxurious Lusso range also stays at four models, although there are changes to the Lusso III. It was introduced last year as the first Lusso model to have fixed single beds in the rear. That has already changed this season as it now has a transverse island double bed in front of a rear washroom.

It is also the only one of the four models in the Lusso range to have parallel settees rather than an L-shaped lounge up front.
The range as a whole sees the same kind of changes you find in the Laser range – so a new exterior look and more black accents. The Lusso III and Lusso IV also come as standard with a TV on the media wall.
Coachman saw an 18% increase in sales volumes last season, and currently claims to have a full order book.
