The luxurious Lusso IV has made its NEC debut at the Caravan, Camping and Motorhome Show this week (17th-22nd February).
Coming in at 7.9m long, the Lusso IV offers all of the sophistication you would expect from these luxury caravans, with a spec list that includes an E&P levelling system, a Dometic safe, an Alde continuous hot water system, and a Truma air conditioning unit.
The Lusso IV joins the likes of the Lusso III in having an L-shaped front lounge. However, the new model is the first one in the range to not have an end washroom, but instead to have a washroom that straddles the centre, with a transverse island bed in the rear. That creates three distinct rooms in the van.
The side kitchen includes a dual fuel four-burner hob with an extractor fan above a separate oven and grill. You also get a Thetford fridge and a flatbed microwave.
The central washroom includes a large shower cabinet and a ladder radiator warmed by the caravan’s Alde heating system.

A set of double cupboards at the base of the transverse bed are placed around a TV, which comes as standard, in addition to the sockets for another TV in the front lounge.
Other features include USB sockets on all spotlights in the lounge, as well as a wireless charging pad. The caravan is primed ready for 5G Wi-fi.

Other features include a 120-watt solar panel, a footstool, Hartal pleated blinds with fly screens on each window, and a Bluetooth speaker system. It’s also 5G ready.
Such luxury does come at a cost, however: the Lusso IV costs £54,240, making it the costliest Lusso model so far. With an MTPLM of 2035kg, it is also the heaviest, so you would need a very large car to tow it.
