A new two-berth model incorporating the largest washroom Erwin Hymer UK (EHG UK) has ever designed is included in the new-look Elddis Avanté range that EHG UK has developed for the 2025 season.
Makes of caravans have been revealing their 2025 season releases and the updates being made to their ranges, and in the case of Elddis, the Avanté 520 brings a two-berth end-washroom layout into its entry-level range, with a similar layout to the existing Affinity 520 model.
Other changes revealed so far include new exterior styling for both the Avanté and the Affinity ranges, to bring them more into line with the Crusaders.
This includes a new-look front and rear panel, a cantilevered gas bottle locker door, tinted front windows, chrome grab handles, PRIMO side windows, new rear light clusters with chrome accents and black alloy wheels. A rear bike rack capable of holding ebikes is now an option.
The Avanté range now comprises six models, including the new 520 and the Elddis Avanté 550, a tourer that impressed us with its towing stability and great storage options when we reviewed the 2024 model. The 454 and 585 have been dropped. The vans get new interior styling, with a Maya upholstery scheme including brightly coloured scatter cushions and a lighter wood furniture finish.
The three continuing Affinity models (the 554 has been dropped) retain their dark wood colour, but come with new Moda upholstery.
Both ranges have a new front lounge with a redesigned sunroof, while washrooms have also been revamped with a one-piece shower cubicle and a lozenge shaped salad-bowl-style handbasin.
The five-strong Crusader range is largely unchanged. But all models will be available this season with the optional 60th anniversary Diamond Edition Pack. This includes special graphics, featuring a 60th anniversary logo, the Mara upholstery scheme with 60th anniversary branded scatter cushions, and a new washroom tap.
EHG UK’s budget Xplore range is due to relaunch this year, with a focus on younger buyers.
Another range from EHG UK is Buccaneer, which will feature caravans coming with a full-size headboard for its fixed beds in 2025, as well as a new Waldorf quilted upholstery scheme. Models in the range include the Buccaneer Commodore, a van which, when we reviewed the 2024 version, impressed with its spacious bedroom and comfortable lounge.
They will also come with a new marble-effect worktop laminate, new metal coat hooks in the washroom, and new exterior graphics. Erwin Hymer UK is continuing with the same models in the line-up.
Erwin Hymer UK is not the only brand to be releasing new season news. Other releases include the new Sprite Exclusive range from Swift, an 11 model range which will be replacing all Sprite-based dealer specials.
