The Practical Caravan Awards 2026, held in association with The Insurance Emporium, are being held this December.
Running from the 1st-7th December, our awards see our expert judging panel assess the latest releases from the best caravan manufacturers and pick out the standout tourers on the market for the upcoming season.
Covering a wide selection of categories, the Practical Caravan Awards aim to help you find the right tourer, regardless of the type of caravan you’re after, whether it’s a six-berth tourer, a compact option, or a family van.
To qualify for our Awards, the caravans will have to either be new or updated for the 2026 season.
When we’re picking the tourers that make it onto our shortlists, we look at the things we know matter to caravanners. Then, to pick our final shortlist and the eventual winner of each category, we compare notes to work out which tourers are the best.
Our awards don’t just help caravanners find their dream van, either. After all, matching a car to a caravan is an important part of touring, which is why we also judge towing car categories.
We will be announcing the winners during our online Awards week, which is running from the 1st to the 7th December 2025. We will be releasing this year’s categories soon too, so be sure to check back for that.
