For those who aren’t aware, the Prime Day sale is currently underway on Amazon, running from 8th July through to the 11th, and there are some excellent discounts to be found for caravanners. A case in point – I’ve just spotted a 21% saving on the TomTom Go Camper Max in the Prime Day sale, bringing it down to only £236.99.

The best caravan sat navs will really make life on the road easier, allowing you to safely arrive at your destination without finding yourself confronted by low bridges or narrow roads that lead to an unnecessarily stressful start to a tour. This is just one of the features provided in this second-generation model from well-known sat nav manufacturer TomTom, where its custom routing will take you on a route suited to your caravan’s dimensions.

Following this route should be simple too, thanks to its speaker and enhanced visual cues, with information clearly displayed on its seven-inch screen. It will helpfully warn you when a Low Emission Zone is on your route, while those who prefer a more picturesque drive to their campsite can try the Scenic Routing feature.

There are other benefits to consider too. For instance, certain models, such as this TomTom, will come with preloaded POIs for caravanners. Here, that includes from ACSI and ANWB. If you’ve been considering that tour abroad for a while, the Max will have you covered as well, thanks to its worldwide map coverage, which can be updated by connecting to Wi-Fi.

I’d say this is a decent price for the Go Camper Max if you need a new sat nav – it matches the saving Amazon offered on it over Spring Deal Days sale event, and beats the price seen over Black Friday, where I saw it on offer for £249.99.
