We’ve been running a Coachman Oasis 440/5 we picked up from the Caravan Company at Finedon since early last year. We are shortly going to return it to them, where it will be put up for sale and some lucky punter will get themselves a very smart tourer.

It’s still not perfect, having had a very hard life before it got to us, but it is now looking a lot better. A badly smashed rear panel, missing wheelarch and bad tear in the floor caused by a tyre delamination put it on the brink of being savable. Thanks to brilliant work by V&G Caravans in Whittlesey, the damaged bodywork has been straightened out.
[tl:gallery size=480×320]Doug ‘Fix It’ King has popped a brand new Whale Water Heater in it to replace the failed Carver Cascade. He also put a new BPW Jockey Wheel with a built-in noseweight gauge and an Al-Ko Stabiliser on it. His final job was to fit a Kenwood CD/Radio.
[tl:gallery size=480×320]The last job, which has really transformed it is a top-drawer retrim by Bellfield Furnishings. Bellfield’s aftermarket team did sterling work and it has really transformed the inside of this tourer.
[tl:gallery size=480×320]It will be back with the Caravan Company shortly so contact them here if you are in the market for a mid-nineties tourer that still needs a some detail tidying but has definitely had all the difficult bits done.
