Having raked up an impressive 80 caravanning years, John Bradley decided he’d jot down his memories to share with fellow enthusiasts, and there are many.
The nostalgic guide starts in 1928, and his first experiences of caravanning in the form of his parents Tudor style self-built van. Based on a Chevrolet chassis, with artillery wheels and cart-leaf springs, the van weighed over a ton and was towed with a 1927 Austin Tourer.
Since then John has had plenty of adventures and the pleasure of enjoying 24 different caravans and an impressive 44 towcars.
