There were a number of new season models on display at the Swift stand at The Great Holiday Home Show last week (8th-10th October).

This included a model from the new Elegance Grande range of luxury 8ft-wide caravans, the 780, which has a price that starts from £43,495.

A four-berth single axle tourer with an MTPLM of 1892kg, the van includes a Duvalay Duvalite Apollo Luxe mattress in the bedroom, while a rear washroom provides a shower bi-fold door, an illuminated mirror, an Ecocamel Jetstorm shower head and more.

Swift, who you can find out more about in our best caravan brands guide, also had the single-axle Challenger Exclusive 580 on show. The van, which has an OTR of £33,795 and MTPLM of 1679kg, provides parallel seating in the front lounge, while its rear transverse bed comes with a Duvalay Duvalite Gravity Luxe mattress and underbed storage.

A Dometic Series 10 98 litre under-counter fridge can be found in the kitchen, along with features such as a Thetford thermostatic oven and grill, a microwave oven and an Omnivent.

The 8ft-wide Swift Challenger Grande Exclusive 650L was also exhibited. The twin-axle caravan makes the most of its width with an L-shaped lounge, while the back of the tourer includes a rear island bed with a Duvaley Duvalite Gravity Luxe mattress and a full-height headboard. The OTR price starts from £39,295 and the tourer’s MTPLM is 1812kg.

The Challenger Exclusive models all come with a variety of extra features too, including onboard 4G Wi-Fi, a wireless mobile phone charger, an awning light on the offside, full Diamond Cut alloy wheels and more.

Visitors to the Harrogate show also got to see Coachman’s two revised layouts, the Laser Xtra 665 and the Laser Xcel 850. Models from Bailey’s new Phoenix GT75 and Pegasus Grande GT75 ranges were also on display, while Erwin Hymer UK also had its brands on show, with the exception of Compass, which has been dropped for 2024.
