Welcome to the brand new Practical Caravan website, relaunched for 2014 and better than ever.

You will still find all the features you know and love from our previous website, but now they’ve benefited from some shine and polish.

Arguably our biggest news is our refocused travel section. We’re giving you enhanced travel guides written by caravanners, for caravanners, to help you get the best from your caravan holidays and to encourage you to explore with confidence. Caroline Mills, author of Cool Caravanning, has written 15 excellent regional overviews covering the UK and Ireland to get us started. Illustrated by stunning photographs and with embedded videos, it’s sure to inspire your 2014 travels. And in the coming weeks and months we will be adding to this, expanding our portfolio, giving you in depth, expert travel guides.

Of course, our caravan reviews are still a big part of practicalcaravan.com and with more fully integrated video reviews than before – and many more to come – this section of the website is bigger and better than ever.

We have also integrated video content into our tow car reviews, as our resident long-time tow car expert David Motton puts the latest new car releases through their paces in his tough and comprehensive tow car tests.

To reflect the upswell of video content on Practical Caravan we have a brand new, dedicated videos page. With many caravan, tow car, travel and advice videos, this page brings them all together so you can make a cuppa, pull up a chair and browse them with ease.

Are you a fan of our ever popular forum? Then you’ll be pleased to hear that it has a slick new look and more features, helping you to interact and communicate better. It might take a bit of time to familiarise yourself with your new surroundings, but once comfortable and feeling at home, we’re sure you will enjoy the new forum as much as you did the old one. And if you have never tried the forum, there’s never been a better time to log in and get started – you can be assured of a warm welcome.

Don’t forget you can still enter the latest competitions online and get expert tips and advice. Our news pages will be regularly updated with the latest news in the world of caravans, while our editorial team will keep you informed, amused and entertained with their blog posts.
