THERE ARE NO big changes in either range for 2012 – just tweaks to standard specification and design.
The highlights are Al-Ko ATC, updated Al-Ko hitch gear, distinctive ‘Italian ash’ wood finish in the Eccles, and a new kitchen and table surface laminate. The bed-slats system is upgraded, while an improved front chest and cushion make-up offers 70mm of extra lounging space.
New transverse bed layouts
Kitchens get LED downlighters and the Truma Ultrastore water heater now has two 230V settings to work faster. The only layout change is in the Eccles Quartz and Challenger 580, both of which gain nearside transverse beds.
The changes to both ranges should keep them fresh, but there’s going to be stronger competition for them in 2012 as other manufacturers have unveiled some compelling caravans for the new season.
