Coachman now has a UK market share of just over 20%, the company’s Swedish owner KABE claimed in results for the first half of this year, released in October.

Posting an operating profit of SEK73m (£13.6m) on turnover of SEK1830m (£144.1m), the Swedish company said that adjustments to inventory levels had affected sales in Germany, but in the UK, which, also saw similar adjustments, Coachman has strengthened its position considerably. This marks a positive first half of the year for the brand, which was also voted the best caravan manufacturer at our Owner Satisfaction Awards 2025.

Coachman’s latest own results – for 2024 – released only earlier this summer, suggested that last year it saw a 20% drop in caravan sales.

The manufacturer appeared at the Motorhome and Caravan Show earlier this month, where Coachman showcased its new season releases, which included the UK’s first 8ft-wide two-berth caravan.

The Laser 480 Xtra is part of the seven-model Laser range, and comes with an MTPLM of 1550kg and an OTR price of £38,460. The 8ft-wide caravan provides a spacious front lounge where a double bed can be made up.

Other changes from the brand for 2026 include refreshing the layouts of two VIP tourers. These are the 545, which has switched back to the separate “Jack and Jill” doors in front of the rear inline island bed, complete with a washroom on a pillar in between, and the VIP 565, which now comes with the wardrobe in the end washroom.

In other industry news, the attendance for this year’s Motorhome and Caravan Show has been revealed, with total figures slightly up on last year’s total.
