Struggling to get inspired for next year’s holiday? German tour operator Perestroika Tours may have just the thing to relight your touring fire.

 

Perestroika Tours specialises in trips to places most caravanners don’t reach. The 2011 brochure has just been published and the list of places you can take your caravan is pretty eye catching. 

 

Although most of the company’s tours are conducted in German, there is one major tour, conducted in English that is suitable for caravanners. It is a 28 day guided tour that starts and ends in Warsaw, Poland but it takes in Minsk, Moscow, St Petersburg, Tallinn, Vilnius and Riga.

 

Prices for the 3750km tour are €1920 per person which includes pitch fees, 12 meals, 14 sightseeing trips and visas. 

 

Incidentally, if you don’t mind being spoken to in German, there are also tours to China, Mongolia and Dubai available. Pack plenty of toilet chemical. Some of the trips are 140 nights long…
