We’re discovering Wiltshire, checking out two luxury caravans and more in the latest episode of our TV show on The Caravan Channel. Don’t want to miss it? Then remember to tune in on Sky 192 or Freesat 402, or watch live online – find out when we’re on at the foot of this article.

In our new show, Rob Ganley heads to Marquis Leisure’s Sussex dealer site and looks at the Buccaneer Clipper. It has a very popular layout with twin fixed single beds near the rear and a massive end washroom. This BPW chassis based, twin-axle caravan has an external shower point plus an external gas barbecue point, as well as 12-volt TV aerial and satellite points that you can access from outside. Inside, the luxury Alde wet central heating system will keep you cosy, while the flat screen TV will help keep you entertained. The L-shaped kitchen has a large sink, three gas burners and an electric hotplate, a separate oven and grill, a big Domestic fridge-freezer, a microwave and a drinks cabinet. This really is a well specced van. But don’t just take our word for it – catch us on Sky 192, Freesat 402 or watch the show on The Caravan Channel website and see for yourself.

And that’s not all. Rob is also reviewing the Compass Rallye 554, based on an Al-Ko chassis. Like the Buccaneer Clipper, it has loads of external kit. It’s sold as a four-berth, but many will view it has a high end two-berth. There’s a smart integrated sunroof, light tone lockers with brushed metal handles, and the kitchen, again with a separate oven and grill, has many good looking, stainless steel details. This Rallye 554 also has a large, fixed island bed, flanked by wardrobes – and under-bed storage is great, with external access, too. The caravan’s full width end washroom with a sliding door also has a generously sized and fully lined shower, as you would expect from such a luxurious, well built tourer.

Also in our new TV show, Practical Caravan’s Clare Kelly has been out and about, this time towing a Bailey Pursuit 530-4 caravan behind a Ford Kuga to wonderful Wiltshire. She takes in Stonehenge and its new visitor centre, as well as the historic town of Bradford-on-Avon, so if you’re looking for things to do in Wiltshire on your caravan holidays, tune in.

How about somewhere to stay and pitch your caravan in Wiltshire? Clare has that covered, too. Merkins Farm is about two miles north of Bradford-on-Avon and less than 10 miles east of beautiful Bath. Open all year and dog-friendly, it also has a lovely, on-site café which has a vintage caravan themed room. Enjoy breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea here in pretty surroundings on your caravan holidays in Wiltshire.

Motty’s back, too, in our new TV show, this time hitting the road in a Subaru XV. A used, four-wheel drive compact crossover, powered by a four-cylinder diesel engine, this is a tow car with genuine off-road ability and a certain rugged appeal.

Our latest TV show also brings you more expert advice from John Wickersham – this time, he’s cleaning cushions. Filmed on stage in the marquee at the Practical Caravan Reader Rally earlier this year, John demonstrates how to mix your own fabric cleaners to remove stains from your caravan’s upholstery.

Practical Caravan works in partnership with Information TV to co-produce these programmes on The Caravan Channel. The shows are broadcast on Sky 192 and Freesat 402 across a fortnightly period (please see the times below). Alternatively, you can watch all our shows live online on The Caravan Channel website.
