    Trigano Silver 310TL 2011

    £13,395.00

    Published: November 25, 2010

Trigano's Silver range of pop-top caravans are ideal for those wanting an easy to tow and store caravan. With eleven layouts for the UK these French models cover a small market share. Interesting overall layouts Silver now for 2011 offer a new model the 310TL a two berth with no washroom.

    Verdict

The Silver 310TL is ideal for those needing a small tourer that’ll fit in a garage. It’s not cheap though, especially when you factor in that a hot water is an optional extra. If you want a compact size, good interior comfort and can live without a washroom, this has few rivals.

    Pros

Lightweight, compact and nicely built, the Trigano Silver is a handsome tourer that can be towed by a small towcar

    Cons

No washroom may be a barrier for some, and it’s expensive and poorly equipped compared to more conventional caravans

    Pitching & Setting-up

Built on Al-Ko chassis the Silver TL comes with alloy wheels as standard along with a spare wheel and tyre. No AKS stabiliser is fitted however but our experience of towing these pop-tops gives us confidence that an AKS stabiliser isn’t essential. Shock absorbers are fitted which will help to maintain a stable tow. New exterior profile for 2011 reveals new front end and also new all-round stylish graphics with durable polyester sides for a tough yet aesthetic look. Large grab handles and external side locker hatch are features but Trigano don’t fit a battery box.

    Living

The odd lounge layout works surprisingly well, given the compact dimensions and makes few compromises on comfort. It’s well lit, more spacious than you might imagine and although they don’t look terribly supportive, the seat cushions offer pretty good support. There are three mains sockets.

    Kitchen

The front L shaped kitchen area is pretty good with acres of worktop as well as good cupboard storage. Three roof lockers offer reasonable storage while a four burner hob and grill plus sink and 60-litre fridge ensure the fridge is capable enough for most. A hot water system is a cost option and no oven is fitted.

    Washroom

The Silver 310TL has no washroom.

    Beds

The sleeping arrangements sees the side dinette and single settee being made into a double bed.

    Storage

With a couple using the Silver 310TL the storage provided is ample with all-round roof locker storage plus a wardrobe that will take a weeks clothing plus under seat locker storage too. With the roof up, on top of the roof lockers you also get a shelf which would prove useful while on site for added items. Just by the door there is a handy cupboard so adding solutions to storage.
