The Trigano Group sees little prospect of a significant growth in caravan sales this year.
The French multinational manufacturer made the comment as it sought to correct a Reuters report which had claimed that the company did not expect to see any recovery this year.
It now says its motorhome business has seen significant growth this year in France, Germany, Italy and Spain.
But it says the caravan market is experiencing weak demand, with no immediate recovery expected.
Caravans only make up 5% of the group’s revenue. However, that does include Adria, who was named the best new caravan manufacturer at the Owner Satisfaction Awards 2025, and the Silver folding caravan brand. Adria also had two tourers shortlisted at the Practical Caravan Awards 2025, including the Adria Alpina Colorado and the Alpina Rio Grande.
It also includes two brands that used to be sold in the UK but no longer are – Caravelair and La Mancelle. The latter included models such as the La Mancelle Liberty 490 SA and the La Mancelle Fantaisy 440 CL.
The company’s motorhome brands, along with Adria, include Chausson, Auto-Trail, Auto-Sleepers, Roller Team, Benimar, Mobilvetta. McLouis, Rimor and Eura Mobil.
