Coachman has its new Acadia 655 Xtra on display at the Motorhome and Caravan Show this week.

The 655 Xtra (£38,975) is part of Coachman’s overhauled Acadia range this season, with the four-berth twin-axle tourer an 8ft-wide caravan which is 7.90m long, has an MTPLM of 1832kg and a payload of 165kg.

It comes with a rear transverse island bed and an L-shaped front lounge, while its central washroom is equipped with a black heated towel rail, a domestic style shower cubicle with an LED light and black pivot door, and a mounted vanity bowl.

The kitchen includes a flatbed microwave, a 137 litre Thetford fridge, a Thetford oven and grill, a duel-fuel hob, and a domestic style tap.

The 665 Xtra is part of a line-up which has been refreshed for the new season, with the 545 and 575 Xtra tourers both now 8ft wide.

Other changes across the line-up includes new flat locker doors, a marble design on the work surface extension in the kitchen, and new splash backs in the kitchen and washroom. The tourers also feature 3D exterior graphics, grey alloy wheels, matt black spotlights with USB ports, and black handles on all of the drawers.

Joining it on the Coachman stand is the refreshed Lusso III. Part of a range of luxury caravans, the Lusso III is unique in the Lusso line-up as it is the only one which comes with parallel settees in the lounge, instead of an L-shaped lounge.

It has also seen a change in its sleeping arrangements, with the tourer previously coming with fixed single beds at the rear. However, the redesigned caravan now comes with a rear washroom instead, with a transverse island double bed found in front of it.

Other new features include new exterior graphics, diamond cut alloy wheels, and a ‘NEVADA’ multi-function digital control panel. The tourer’s spec also includes E&P self levelling, a 120w caravan solar panel, and a kitchen with a 159-litre fridge freezer, a Thetford dual fuel hob and oven with a separate grill.

Prices for the Lusso III start from £56,000 and the 7.90m-long caravan has an MTPLM of 1985kg and a MiRO of 1925kg.
