I love Black Friday – it’s always a fantastic chance to pick up those bits of caravanning kit that you never really thought you needed. Whether it’s levelling ramps, low-wattage gadgets or a Christmas gift for the caravanner in your life, you can save money and time by shopping Black Friday deals online.

However, there’s one downside – there are a lot of products to get through to find something that represents a good deal, particularly if you’re looking somewhere like Amazon, that has a seemingly infinite number of items to browse.

But that’s where I can help. I’ve been looking through some of the biggest retailers’ websites over the past few days to find bargains for myself – and here, you’ll find a round-up of what I’ve discovered.

So, whether you want to treat yourself or someone else this Black Friday (and Christmas), we’re on hand for inspiration! Don’t miss our guide to the best Black Friday caravan accessories either, where we’re sharing our favourite options on the market.

Beldray Collapsible Dish Drainer
Image: Amazon

Beldray LA031051 Collapsible Dish Drainer was £11.99 now £7.99 (save 33%)

If you have a tourer that’s on the smaller side, and a lot of washing up to do, you might find (if you’re anything like me) that you end up stacking wet dishes on tea-towels to drain. But that will be a thing of the past if you choose (again like me) to spend a few pounds on this well-priced collapsible dish drainer.

Not only is there plenty of room for piling up cups, plates, glasses and cutlery, preventing it from sliding off the worksurface, it’ll also fold up neatly, ready to be stored in one of your caravan’s lockers.

Kampa Non-Slip 12-Piece Dinner Set
Image: Amazon

Kampa Non-Slip 12-Piece Dinner Set was £43.50 now £16.99 (save 61%)

So you’ve got your collapsible draining board… but what about some crockery to put in it?

Traditional porcelain is heavy, and very breakable, but I’m not always keen on some of the designs of melamine crockery. But this set from Kampa is different: it’s smartly finished in plain white, so looks modern, but offers all the practical, hardwearing benefits of melamine. The set includes enough plates and bowls for four people on tour. Need more than that? It’s available at a good Black Friday discount, so why not buy two sets?

GreatCool 62" Car Wash Brush Kit
Image: Amazon

GreatCool 62″ Car Wash Brush Kit was £24.99 now £15.99 (save 36%)

Pressure washers aren’t good for caravan bodywork – they can force seals apart and potentially introduce a greater chance of water ingress – so I’m always on the lookout for a good cleaning brush. That’s why I’ve included this one on my list here: although it can be extended right out to 160cm in length, it can quickly and easily be taken apart for easy storage in its own dedicated bag. As well as the handle you’ll also get two chenille microfiber mop heads, which should be kind to the exterior of your tourer when you set to work cleaning it.

The Garmin camper 1095

Garmin Camper sat-nav range

I’m a big fan of Garmin’s Camper sat-nav range, which offers bespoke caravan routing once you’ve entered details of your outfit. I tested the biggest model in the line-up, the 1095, just recently, and loved its other features (which include a campsite directory, attraction guides, voice operation and more) during that time.

So I was pleased to see the Camper 1095 on sale this Black Friday – if you’d prefer a smaller screen, you can alternatively go for the 895 model, which offers the same features but in a more compact size.

Dometic Luxury Plus Modena Reclining Chair
Image: Amazon

Dometic Luxury Plus Modena Reclining Chair was £135.00 now £54.99 (save 59%)

I need a new camping chair this coming touring season – my previous one met an unfortunate end – and this smart chair which I spotted on offer looks like a great choice. It’s made by Dometic, so it’s a brand that you can trust, and I love the fact that it reclines to seven different positions, making it more comfortable on site.

It seems to be made from high-quality fabrics, and packs away neatly when it’s not in use. The best thing about it is the price, though – Winfields is currently offering an amazing 59% off the RRP.

Maypole 12″ Caravan Leg Winding Extended 19 mm Socket, Silver
Image: Amazon

Maypole 12″ Caravan Leg Winding Extended 19mm Socket was £6.99 now £3.99 (save 40%)

Winding caravan steadies is a bit of a tedious job, so many caravanners choose to make lighter work of it by using a cordless drill – but for that, you need the right winder attachment. This is a great example, by well-known manufacturer Maypole: simply slot it into your drill’s chuck and get winding. The socket is made of strong, durable steel for longevity, and it’s quite long, too, at around 12 inches – useful if your tourer’s steadies are set back a short way underneath the bodywork.

Pro-Kleen Intense Waste Pipe and Tank Cleaner
Image: Amazon

Pro-Kleen Intense Waste Pipe and Tank Cleaner was £7.95 now £6.76 (save 15%)

We’ve all been there – returned to the caravan after a while, only to find that the interior smells less than fragrant thanks to muck in the pipes. Finding an easy, efficient way of tackling that grime is essential, so I’m tempted by a bottle of this Pro-Kleen product.

It’s suitable for all manner of tanks and pipes in your tourer; simply add the required amount and warm water, leave it to soak then drain away. It’s also intense enough to work on stubborn blockages, too.
